Eastern souvenirs

Eastern souvenirs are a series of sculptures brought from Sri Lanka to the cold climate, to explore the drying process in Scandinavian humidity. The sculptures revolve into a light dusty green piece – and gets conservated into an immortal piece of nature art. Birgitta Wolfgang has in this photo series taken on her experience and fascination of portraying palm to framing this palm sculptures with her camera and transcendence the quality of the nature and emphasizes the characteristics of each art piece in one picture.
