Ida Katrine Friis Tinning
Danish Architect and textile artist based in Stockholm and Copenhagen
As an artist and architect I have always been interested in the use of feminine coded handcrafts tradition and how you can apply these on “primitive” and lightweight materials. On my journey I always strive towards turning my work into an architectural scale, where the sculptures can ad a feminine fragile layer to the architecture or even become the architecture in itself.
I work with small scale architecture project, private villas and research projects which turns into art pieces.
I am always curious about new collaboration and architecture projects!
