Percolate 2016

With the parametrical pavilion percolate, we want to explore the potential of expanding the spacial use of the open parts of the square, Lilla Torg. The structural design is light and translucent in order to allow the square to remain airy, and work as a meeting point for social interaction.

 

By creating a structure, floating above the square, we intend to invite audience for temporary stay along and under the pavilion for a rest and provide a vibrating play when moving in the wind, filtering sun and streetlights. When rain falls through the open ceiling you experience being both inside and outside
